Tiny Watercolor Series

This series began during a trip to Alaska that I took in April-May 2026 along with a few relatives in which we drove an RV from Chicago to Anchorage, and then took a cruise down the inside passage to Vancouver.  I put together a portable watercolor kit and some tiny 2×3 pieces of watercolor paper that I stored in an empty Altoids tin so that I could paint along the way.  I had fun doing the tiny watercolors, so have continued them on occasion since.

Murals

The Route 66 mural shown in the video was a cooperative project completed in 2026 along with 6 other local artists.  Each ‘postcard’ was done by a separate artist and represents one of the states along historic Route 66.  I contributed the postcard for Texas as well as painting the entire background scene behind them all.
