Have you or your child ever wanted to learn to draw but not sure where to start?  This course will guide students through fundamental techniques and exercises to help develop your drawing skills.  Topics covered include contour drawing, shading, light/shadow fundamentals, one and two point perspective, gridding, sighting, and negative space.

Open to adults and youth ages 12 and up (exceptions may be possible with special permission)

8 lesson course (over 10 weeks) taught in group format of up to 12 people per session in 1.5 hr weekly sessions. 

Lessons are each Wednesday from Feb 4 to April 8 (If weather cancellation is necessary, we will either extend to April 15 or arrange alternate date(s) that work for everyone) No class will be held on Mar 19 or Mar 26 (Fine Linen Theatre load-in/performances and Spring Break). 

2 time slots are initially offered (if these fill, I will consider adding a third):

              2-3:30PM
              5:30-7:00PM

Total Cost: $140 per person, paid up front
$15 per 1.5 hour lesson x 8 lessons
$20 for art supplies (sketchbook, set of pencils, eraser, sharpener)
